Pizza West

Managed to walk in with two friends and get a seat at the bar thanks to helpful and friendly staff. Best gluten free pizza I've had in a while. It was great to sit and watch the excellent staff work around each other. Young people putting a shift in making pizza, preparing drinks and waiting tables. If you own this place you have a great team working for you. Highly recommend Pizza West and I will always eat here for a night whenever back in Whitby.

Great pizzas, not the cheapest but really tasty. We had them as takeout but inside looks lovely. Staff were great too.

Beautiful restaurant! The moment you walk in you're greeted by a great atmosphere and view of the open kitchen watching the chefs make the fresh pizzas. Delicious pizza, on of my favourites I've had. Plenty of gluten free / Coeliac options and the GF pizza was delicious too as I tried my wife's. Tia provided amazing service and really made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in! We will definitely be visiting again when we return to Whitby!

We have been to Pizza West before and had an amazing experience every time. We made a beeline for Pizza West on NYE, 2025. The drinks were fantastic, food amazing and the atmosphere was incredible! There were some small mistakes (one pizza and side had been missed off) with our order but these were dealt with impeccably. Any establishment is bound to make mistakes but, in my opinion, it is how they respond to these mistakes which will define their reputation. 10/10, Pizza West! Thank you for a lovely evening as always.

Great pizza place with cozy, modern interior. A bit out of the center but that's not a bad thing in Whitby as there was plenty of parking. It was busy and booking is recommended, but we got a table last minute which was much appreciated. The pepperoni pizza was too spicy for our taste.

Because we hadn’t booked we were very fortunate to get a seat at the bar. The place was buzzing, the service was excellent and the food was superb. We particularly enjoyed watching the food being prepared just a few feet away from our seats. You might think the pizzas are a bit expensive but I thought they were worth it and, on the flip side, the desserts cost less than I would expect. Definitely worth a visit.

Absolutely love their gluten free pizza. They actually do large size and fill it up with toppings. They are not stingy and the pizza tastes amazing. I would go to Whitby from London again just for their pizza.
